    About ASSO S.L.A.V.É.

ASSO S.L.A.V.É. is an intellectual laboratory bringing together people from diverse backgrounds around creative, educational, and sustainable projects.

The association's main activity is the development of projects at the intersection of science, entrepreneurship, culture, art, sustainable development, and technology. Particular attention is given to cinema, digital media, and artificial intelligence, as well as to traditional artistic practices, as tools for intercultural exchange and responsible development.

    Our Journey

    History & Values

The association was founded in 2007 at Université Bordeaux Montaigne by students and professors passionate about cultural dialogue with Eastern Europe, former USSR countries, and the Slavic world.

From the beginning, the association stood out through the organization of numerous cultural and scientific events led by professionals from the economic, academic, and artistic worlds. One of its most emblematic projects was the international short film competition In Ciné Veritas.

Over time, the association has evolved, structured, and expanded its activities by developing educational workshops in various academic fields such as communication, management, entrepreneurship, art, creative industries, and marketing. It also conducts oral and written translation activities aligned with its original academic expertise.

These actions rely on research-action methods and design thinking approaches and extend into creative projects, the design of tourism routes in France and Europe, and the promotion of territories and their economic actors, regardless of size.

The association is also committed to inclusivity and respect for human dignity by developing projects that promote access to culture, education, and creativity for diverse audiences, while valuing participation, autonomy, and self-expression as drivers of responsible and sustainable development.

Through this evolution, the association has moved beyond its initial scope to become an interdisciplinary, territorial, and European platform.

Faithful to its academic roots and philosophy—education, culture, and art as tools for transformation—the association has become an intercultural, intergenerational, and interdisciplinary platform.
